Prassa
Prassa
Prassa Beach, also known as Agios Georgios, is one of the most popular beaches on Kimolos Island. It is renowned for its coarse white sand and clear turquoise waters. The beach is equipped with amenities such as a beach bar, loungers, and umbrellas, making it a comfortable spot for visitors.
Access to Prassa Beach is relatively easy, as it is only a 10-minute drive from Horio, the central village of Kimolos. This convenience, combined with the beach’s natural beauty, makes it a favorite destination for both island vacationers and day-trippers from neighboring Milos.
The beach’s characteristic white sand comes from the chalk rocks in the area, contributing to its unique appearance. The enchanting turquoise color of the sea and the off-white coast continue to attract visitors seeking a picturesque beach experience.
